Well with Christmas getting nearer It seems like we keep getting busier and busier We put the tree in Monday for Family home evening and so far so good. Of course I can pull the couch over in front of the door so that Chance can't get into the room with the tree to do any damage. So far, though, he seems only interested in turning the lights on and off and ringing Aubrees angel bell ornament. He, surprisingly, has always asked permission before touching the train. |
Thanksgiving was fun this year. It was more of an extremely extended event. I only new a few of the extenders but it was fun. Our tradition over thanksgiving is to go get Christmas trees. With all of Rogers family. We go up on the mountain behind our house and spend most of the day looking for the perfect tree. (Why is it that when you bring the perfect tree home and put it in the house it no longer fits in the perfect category?) Roger is the "Christmas Tree Man" He finds a spot parks and then disappears for an hour or so. I've found that I, really, can just sit in the pick up eating Peanut M&M's and bugles and wait and before you know it he's back with three semi perfect trees that he's cut down. The widows and grandma's all get tree's too, Thanks to my Christmas tree cutting husband. Personally it's my favorite thing about Christmas and Roger. |
