Perfect

Aubree got all ready for church this morning. She put on a new dress that was black velvet on top and cream with black polka dots on the bottom. She walked into the family room where her three brothers were and said " So.. How do I look Brothers?" Their responses were as follows
Caib-----" I don't like polkadots"
Braden----" Beautiful"
Chance-----" Aubee, You look PERFECT!!"
When I told Roger about their responses He pointed out how they all responded to fit there personality. He was right but that's under the assumption that Braden was being just a little bit sarcastic.

Death by Birthday Cake

So I went to a doctors appointment this morning. The routine sugar test one. Well, I've suspected for two months now that something was going on but now I have to face reality. I do have Gestational Diabetes..(DANG!) Oh well, Like I said, I suspected I did. I just didn't want to deal with it. Here's why. It all started with Caibs Birthday on April 29th, then Rogers Birthday on May 7th, My birthday is Wednesday and Aubree's Birthday is May 16th, Friday. So what are you supposed to do with all that cake? sigh!!!! I'm just glad Braden and Chance's birthdays aren't until October. Two more cakes would kill me.

Pleasant surprises

Our basement flooded. So insurance kicked in and we are re carpeting it. The surprise is we have to have the whole basement emptied and ready for new carpet by Wednesday! Plus we discovered in the one room that we not only have to paint but we have to re sheet rock. The walls behind the beautiful 70's wallpaper were just cardboard boxes and old magazines. No wonder they had so much give when you pressed on them. Oh well, Life is always interesting when you live in a house that dates back over a hundred years in some portions of the home.

It would probably be a whole lot worse discovering these nice little secrets about our home if we didn't know that it was the Great Grandma of our children who so frugally fixed up her home and made it as nice as she could for her family. I can't help but think that she still spends a lot of time here tyring to keep things in order, and every time we update a room she must sigh with relief that it held up until we discovered and fixed the things that could be disastrous. If you look closely on the upper right side of the picture you can see one of the old magazines hanging down.. Yes the ceiling was cardboard and magazines as well.

And how do you like the plumbing? That pipe is the drain to my kitchen sink and Yes! the boys have hung on it broke it and I drained my sink into the basement for who knows how long before I discovered the cause of the mildewy smell.

By the way. This is my dream house. I just keep dreaming that one day we will have everything in order and updated. Hey!!! ya gotta dream!!!

So I'll post some pictures of the room when we finally get it put back together.

Blah, Blah blah blah blah.

The irrigation water is now on which means we can start watering our grass. I always look forward to the water, but not necessarily the mowing once the water does it's job. especially this year. I think I need a new lawn mower. Sigh.

So, I went out and began watering. This is what we woke up to this morning. So do you think I jumped the gun or what? Actually, I do this every year. It's just never been quite this bad.

And that is why we don't even start to plan our gardens until Memorial Day here in Lovely Loa Utah. That ice is at least three inches thick in some spots. and the picture was taken at 1:00 P.M. So it aint melting very fast. But I still love living here. mostly because in August when most people are sweltering from the heat it is pretty tolerable here with cooler temperatures and the fall season is so pretty and long.

Next subject: Me, Boy am I looking forward to July I decided I had to see how big I actually look. So I had Aubree take a picture of me. There you go I almost measure full term and I still have ten weeks to go

Ignore the goofy smile it's fake. O.K. O.K. so I didn't measure quite as big this last check up but I still feel it. And, if the truth were known, I'm so excited to meat this little baby that July still looks a long way off. I guess I should say see this little baby because I feel like I 've already met her.
As for the title of this Blog...... I'm kind a just rambling on about nothing in particular. Therefor Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah hope your boredom was relieved for a few seconds anyway. Have a great day!
